Titbits

She once lost her luggage when she had travelled to Spain for a TV show. So had her manager and her make-up artist's. She was told the next day that their luggage had been sent by mistake to another country. Her manager and the artist had since retrieved their bags though hers was still missing.

These guys seem to be staffs working in TV stations. They were talking about Yossi and Rika being 'rabu rabu' while on the set of Utadoki (CHERRY). The guy on the right said the girls were 'kimochi warui'. He followed up by saying how Yossi and Rika were seated together at one corner and happily chatting away as they waited for the set to be ready. Either he was a crew member or he had heard it from others. He thinks it is 'weird' that both girls are so close to each other. However, another guy explained it could be due to them from the same Gen.

The picture in the previous entry sure shocked the hell out of many people. (haha.) I decided to post it when someone asked why Yossi was never seen chu'ing Rika. Why made the comparisons based on official pictures? When those are (obviously) screened by the management before deemed 'safe' to be released. What's shown explicitly doesn't necessary mean the truth. TV is where the best stuffs are, when the girls let their guard down thinking the camera's not on them, and since the editing crew are from another company, they will have no idea (what to edit). Then truth will be revealed...

Some people might argue there was nothing wrong with teammates holding hands

nor with the body alignment, despite Mai being right next to Yossi.

(backstage rehearsal of Konno's grad. concert) Another M-san being ignored here, ironically; since Rika and Yossi are in different groups now.

Shippers of the other pairing would only notice M-san's hand on Yossi's shoulder though I am only interested in how Yossi had acted subconsciously. (They couldn't cut this scene because the girls are cracking jokes on Makochan.)

All right, dissidents would say those are old netas...

Even when they weren't in the same group for 2 years now, they hadn't stopped being close to each other...

TIS (27) ~THIS IS SOMETHING~

The clip of them massaging each other's hands was shown on national tv on 2003-06-29- 27hr charity show, and quickly caused an uproar among Japanese fans. Since the show was shown 'live' making editing impossible, fans were treated to this delectable sight. There is another longer version that zooms in showing Yossi and Rika looking rather awkward and Yossi was seen wiping her palm against her thighs.

In the same year when they were on another show - 24hr tv, a wota made this report:

1. They drank from the same bottle.

2. Yossi sat on the last seat on the left while Rika stood beside her. Yossi then tapped on her thigh to have Rika sit on it. They looked happy. Later, Rika carried a chair to sit beside Yossi. I couldn't see clearly from where I was but I think Yossi had her hand around Rika from behind the chair.

3. They are often around each other, chatting and smiling.

4. Even when Yossi was at the rightmost corner of the first row and Rika at the leftmost corner of the second row, they were still conversing.

5. Yossi kept looking at Rika during their last song.

And finally, the wota's thoughts:

Rika: Yah, it's better...

Yossi (cutting in abruptly) : You know the reason behind it?

Kemeko: I don't know.

Yossi: Because she would just buy what the mannequin wore.

Rika (becoming shy) : Well...

Yossi (mimicking Rika) : Excuse me~ Can I have this? Because she thinks if it was on display, it had to be good. right?.

How does Yossi come to know that? Rika had told her? Or she had gone (shopping) with Rika?

Case closed. ^^

Rika was absent, but that didn't mean Yossi wouldn't talk about her.

Around 5 mins into the clip, when it was Erina's turn to give her thoughts, Yossi cut in and said something quite impertinent. She told Erina 'It's ok since Ishikawa-san is not here today. Just say whatever is on your mind, and not worry about mother-like Ishikawa-san with her 'noisy' and 'no, no!' '

How does Rika come into the picture? I don't know. It's like she mentioned Rika just for the sake of mentioning.

So if Rika was the mother, who was the father?

Gatten Gatas 2007-11-19

1444 moment in this week's Gatten Gatas.

You're sure you heard nothing, right?
Me too, until I see Japanese wotas 'talking' about it.

4min50s into the show, Rika said she had sent her support (pic email) for the Gatas team although she couldn't be there for Gatas vs Cerbies match in Hokkaido. boke Maichin then replied 'I know, Yossi had told me.'

Well, Mai's reply just meant Rika's email was sent to Yossi. yeah~

TIS (22) ~Hello! Project 2007 Winter ~Wonderful Hearts Otome Gocoro~ 3rd & 4th Jan 07

An anthology of ishiyoshi wotas' reports. They wrote in Japanese, I translated them.

* Besides appearing briefly in the opening segment/song and during her v-u-den performance Rika didn't appear again (from both shows on 3rd Jan). She had fallen sick and despite being excused, she had insisted on performing. What a pro~

* When Rika was on stage performing (as v-u-den) one fan noticed Y's silhouette peeping from behind the curtains, perhaps worried for the former's health. Since she was watching from a spot hidden from cameras, and with MM's performance right after v-u-den's, Y was in fact taking a risk as it would take her longer to get into position when MM took centrestage.

* Y's eyes never left Rika, and was singing along during 'kousui'. It is believed that 'kousui' is one of Y's favourite songs.

* Yossi, Rika and Nono were having lots of fun during Berryz/C-ute's performances. On more than one occasion, Rika would crack up after Y had said something and that was despite they had Nono sitting in-between them. At one time, Y stood up to do a monomane, with Nono as her side-kick, and it got Rika laughing out loud. I think that was captured on DVD (see below).

My favourite has to be when Yossi and Rika tsukkomi Mari after the latter had made a mistake while introducing Berryz. Great timing from both of them.
