Gatten Gatas 2008-10-27

Katte ni melody:
A neta was sent in about Rika while she's sleeping. Yossi then said: For me to write something about that, I'll say "Rika's sleeping face can't make it" or "Rika's sleeping face is a shock!" and she'll probably agree with it.

Listener's corner:

Someone wrote in asking about a scene in 'Come Together' PV where Rika puts on a ribbon and the other three are kind of smirking. He/she wants to know what exactly is Yossi thinking at that moment (that kinda explains the smirk)?

Yossi said: Because when I saw the ribbon on the set, I was thinking "someone's gonna wrap it around her" and she sure did.
Mai: Is there such a scene? I don't really remember it. ^^

Recession Hits!

Even Idols aren't spared.
Don't blame U_F_A,
It's wise to unload than to let the whole ship sink.
Graduation is just an excuse to sell off under-par stocks.

my thoughts...

I was thinking...
Upfront is so afraid of diversifying that the girls have to COSPLAY under another label.
What's in the heads of those ojisans sitting the office?
Don't they realize that cutie virginal idols are now as archaic as them? Chinese say 穷则变,变则通

HANGRY
SEX: Female (20%Male)

Wonders if people actually notice this?

Anyway... 3333 years later, HANGRY will meet her nemesis 'HAPPY'
who will be born on 9999年9月9日, towering at 99cm and weighing an unbelievable 9kg...

She was to find out that 'HAPPY' was actually the reincarnation of 'ANGRY', who died 333 years ago during one of their sadistic 69 games that goes 'Kill Me Kiss Me'. The Kiss is supposed to resurrect but during one of her highest moment, HANGRY got the sequence messed up and did a 'Kiss me Kill me' instead. And thus... parted the loving duo forever.

HANGRY hangs herself when she's ANGRY

Just when I chose to be away from the net for 24 hours...
man...
and I get bombarded with info~ about Hangry&Angry once I'm back.

Revelations...

So many things add up now...

Ishiyoshi popping up here and there in 'official' productions...
that fashion show...
Yossi's more than frequent mention of 'rock' when asked about her favorite music genre...
Yossi learning to play the drums and guitar...

I never liked 'Rock'
but I like the song... Yeah~
their voices... Yin & Yang...
Now people should be convinced how good they sound together.
And I think they sound so cool with their English~ haha~

Can't say much of their outfit though...

I am happy~

Wa-on 2008-10-08

Couldn't understand why they chose to interview OG in a presidential suite room in a high-class hotel. It made the girls feel reticent, especially so for Satoda as I noticed she didn't even dare raise her voice when she was talking. And despite Rika and Yossi was laughing constantly at her 'jokes', the joker herself had appeared oblivious.

It's fun to see Rika turning to Yossi to ask the meaning of a word she doesn't understand. Audience. It kind of surprised me. Being a artist who performs regularly on stage, how can she not know this word? I got another surprise when it was Mai-chin who eventually explained to Rika what the word means. Rika, being a 'non-loser', said that since she is a Japanese, it's all right to not know a non-Japanese word.

When Tenboss mentioned the word 'ORGASM', I just think they are innately low-class, though they tried to look professional, but guys will always be guys. Secretly, they relish in 'sekuhara', especially when there are three pretty girls present.

When the girls were asked "What does 'being alive' mean for an artist?" Mai-chin's answer (death) was such a winner that it got Yossi and Rika cracking up loudly. Yossi, especially, was so amused that she had to hide behind her hands laughing. The last part where Mai-chin added that 'it's for death's sake' was so "???" that it just made Yossi 'happier'. In fact most of the times, Mai-chin's answers were simply '无理头' (I can't think of a English word so I use a chinese word) while her serious expression told you she had killed many brain cells trying to come out with it. And she wasn't trying to be funny, but dead serious about the whole thing. She's so fun to have around. I finally understand why Yossi and Mai-chin end up as good friends.

But through this little episode, I also see that Rika is less tolerant towards 'nonsense'. She stopped laughing at Mai-chin's antics after a while, but when she saw Yossi still laughing, she joined in again. A part when you see Rika genuinely laughing, was when she's actually 'sneering'. Not that I don't like it. In fact, I LOVE it when she does that. Like she's being herself and enjoying everything. I hope she does that more often.

When Tenboss mentioned about having them (OG) on the show next time, Rika hoped Waon wouldn't try to be this 'formal' again. (my sentiments exactly ^^)

Bayfm78 ON8 2008-10-09

The bayfm ON8 radio show you could dl from H!O tracker is actually a recording of the event Ongaku Gatas had on 5th Oct at Shibuya AX. Many should remember seeing these on various uploaders.

Theme is about 'Watashi no kimochi Come Together' and Rika wrote "I got slimmer' and Yossi '1.2.3'. (Funny thing is when Yossi showed what she wrote, the crowd simply went 'ehhh~~~'.) During Rika's turn, when she explained why she wrote 'I got slimmer' and mentioned about going back to a certain period last time, Yossi cut in and said she's definitely not going back to that time. When the crowd laughed, Yossi thought it was funny that they knew what she was referring to.

i-shi-yo-shi

Notchi was doing a interview with someone. No idea what the whole thing is about, except that they keep talking about manga. Then this someone talked about cosplay and asked Notchi if she ever thought of doing H!P cosplay, and went on to mention 'ishiyoshi' 'yoshigama' 'ayamiki' and... Notchi paused to tell the camera 'ishiyoshi' means Ishikawa-san and Yoshizawa-san.

It means...

the whole of H!P knows what '1444' stands for.

freaked out~

I guess there's a reason why Rika wasn't in the cage until the very last minute...

Where resides people scarier than 'Hunters'.

Poor girl, literally in '逃走中' for all 60 mins.

my thoughts...

Haven't seen the show yet. Going through blog posts and forums, I came to know that Yossi won the game, along with another guy. 540,000 yen. That's around 7k in my country's currency. Very little in my opinion, considering they - celebrities, mind you - have to sweat it for an hour.

All right, I will not post what you people should have already known but things I see going around...

Firstly, I came to know that Rika kind of 'surrendered' (that's if I read it correctly). I guess the pressure's too great for her. They said she was scared throughout the game. Not good for the heart uh? Well, fans don't like it. Plain cowardice, they said. And the fact that she walked in means she's actually giving up camera footage. (That's why celebrities appear in shows right? For camera footage). Yossi's wotas then said it's proven that Rika's a pestilence - always sticking to Yossi - and could do nothing when left alone.

So Yossi won. That's great right? Haha~ No again. According to some fans, the fact that she won means she is a damn sneaky person. (???)

So, one thing is very true of this world.

'You can't please everybody.'

EDIT: Just saw a little of it on youtube. Man... what can I say... Wotas can really make a mountain out of a molehill. I could only say Rika being caught was due to bad luck. Who could outrun those lanky guys? And Yossi being sneaky? I just thought she was gallant enough to have saved some asses. ^_^
