my thoughts...

I was thinking...
Upfront is so afraid of diversifying that the girls have to COSPLAY under another label.
What's in the heads of those ojisans sitting the office?
Don't they realize that cutie virginal idols are now as archaic as them? Chinese say 穷则变,变则通

I think the problem is they're scared of changing the method that once worked. Sure they don't get greatest hits anymore, but I bet they have enough of a following of wotas that they could continue to put out lackluster music and it still sells, this is because of girls' fanbase not anything the company is nessearily doing.

I think hangry and anrgy is an attempt for them to 'test the waters' in the safest way possible, if it is a success then they may try more things, if it is a failure they can just wash their hands of it and say 'oh well, it was just a mini album so...'

I don't know, but I really hope hangry and angry become a bit of a fanomanon, so even when it ends they might end up copycating the idea under their own label...

at least I hope so.

Ditto! It's sad that MM aren't invited to big music shows nowadays. That formula no longer works. Then again, it could be that the new girls lack 'character'. No angry Yuuko/Miki, no over the top Mari/Natchi, no prominent pair (W, Ishiyoshi), no silly Kaori/Makoto. What's left is a yankii, a rabbit, a turtle, a bean (who's trying hard to get out of the pod), a low-profile leader and some 'miracle' girls.

The mini-album will definitely be the best selling album/single among all h!p this year. The hype is there. 'Kill me Kiss me' is something fans have been waiting for. Hopefully the other songs are as good, though it's not always the case. (When is the last time you bought an album and liked all the songs in it?) ^_-

Seriously, Ishiyoshi should go learn some instruments and rock all their way~
