I had to listen to that a couple times before understanding it. (And had to ask about a few things xD)
To summarize...it's basically saying that you'd think Rika is the mature one, but Yossi actually more mature.
The thing about the futon...Rika's always doing things at her own pace like falling asleep after talking a lot (or whatever). And Yossi looks and thinks "oh it can't be helped, I want to put out the futon for her" and actually does it. Rika says she's like a big sister, level-headed and calm.
Mai's comment at the end is pretty funny. It gives me this hilarious yet cute image of Yossi.

Only thing that could make this better would be if Yossy shares the Futon with Rika.... and there was photographic proof of it *SWOONS*
Rika and Maichin was talking about how 'baka' Maichin sometimes was. Rika said she didn't find Maichin 'baka' as being literary stupid. They later changed to being 'omoshiroi' (funny). And Maichin said since they're on this topic, she said she sometimes finds Rika funny. Quoting an example, she said Rika could be talking at one moment and could suddenly fall asleep the next second. Then she mentioned the 'relationship' Yossi and Rika shared. Although Rika's the older one, Yossi actually more level-headed.
Well, the futon thinggie. It's confusing... First Maichin (to prove her point that Yossi's the more mature one) said that Yossi looks the type that upon seeing Rika had fallen asleep, would go 'this girl~' and tugged the girl to sleep (cover with a futon or lay the futon, whatever?) then later part, Maichin actually said 'mite' which could mean she witnessed it and thought it was funny. (because someone younger is actually looking after someone older.) So~ which is which? And could it be a scene from their recent 2-days Gatas training? Shibata said in her radio show that the girls (elder members) bunked together and talked till the wee-hours.
And I notice they have been mentioning each other more often now. Though this time, it is Maichin who let leak the little titbit.
I'll share a another titbit which I missed out earlier. After Yossi sang 'Sono deai no tame ni' during her recent CDS, she commented on her dress and said the ribbon on it was very Rika-like. (Now, isn't that totally uncalled for? haha)

Like haruchan said, when I saw the word "futon", I thought the same exact thing! LOL It's cute how Yossie looks out for Rika though ^^
Though I completely love this new Ishiyoshi moment, I can't help but wonder if this is completely one-sided sometimes. It seems to me that Yossy is the one always chasing or being mindful of Rika; mentioning her in some way or pulling out the futon for her (and I'm guessing putting her on it).. but is there evidence to say that Rika does the same towards Yossy?
I may be new the idea of the 'couple' but the importance of reciprocation always plays a role in the dynamics in a relationship. So far, there's been loads of 'netas' in which Yossy seems (to me) to be the clear aggressor -- always the one trying to elicit a response from Rika or mention her in subliminal way..
Point is that I hope there is more to this 'relationship' than just Yossy having a soft spot for Rika.
OMFG!! I melted at the point where Mai said Yossi would just cover the futon over Rika when she fell asleep halfway after talking!

@ni-san; I think I'm with you. Which is why in one previous poll, I have this option 'Y-san likes R-san, but R-san is so straight'. Before, Rika's more open with her 'affection' with Yossi. But then their interaction toned down when things got too hot around 2002. And now it seems, one-sided. I'm quite sure they aren't a couple. Borderline case... But with her looks and demeanor, she can turn all straight girls crooked.
