Haha, what.. are those guys her bodyguards? Or maybe she's saying help me because she's surrounded by guys! And we all know that she'd rather have Yossy be her bodyguard. ;)
Anyway, I bet it's really hard to experience being "free" in public when you're an idol, heck, even just a regular celebrity in Japan. I don't know if I could deal with always having someone around me to make sure I was safe from the crazed fans. I feel sorry for Rika and them sometimes.
Oh, I came across something interesting the other day. I happened on a blog that categorized the types of idols into three types:
"Type1: Girls who want to be loved by idol boys.
Type2: Girls who just want to be a singer.
Type3: Girls who love an idol girl."
When I think of Yossy and Rika, I tend to lean towards the third type.. Or maybe they are really the second type? They do seemed focused on their career as singers so it could be entirely possible that they are just really, and truly, want to be singers.
Hum.
This article brought up some interesting points but I'm not sure if I'd necessarily agree with the examples that fell into each category.

forgot to add this. I think Yossy and Rika fall into type 2. they love their job, the love to perform on stage. so i think, they just want to be a singer. Or more correct, performer/artist. -they also love acting.

Yeah... I think those two love their career, and I remember seen in some program that Yossy is really focused in her career...
And you're right Japanime1, that guy is Shoji, Miki's boyfriend. Maybe this pic is about a sport festival with Viyuden and Mai Satoda, Shoji is the MC (well that's the info I read in Yomikinet)
Rika is a co-host for a sports festival, and yes Miki's bf is also there (as a host).
I had a good time laughing when I read how the author of the blog mentioned about Idols not giving a hoot for their otaku fans. This is so true. Wouldn't it freak you out to know you have crazed fans? And some of them even with stalker-like tendencies. I definitely will.
For me, Yossi and Rika don't seem to fall under any of the 3 categories, that's if you ask me their 'motive' for joining showbiz. I feel they auditioned to join MM because they're inspired by their own idols. They might have thought it'd be cool to be an idol, moreover MM was the 'girl group' of Japan back then. (Yes, it's sad what they've been reduced to. They barely make it to this year Kouhaku...) Alright before I digress... for now, both girls look to me they're concentrating on their careers.
