But whats up with H!P smooching each other lately? UFA trying to pull in different type of fans in now? Or are the girls actually doing it on their own will?

hmmm...
UFA is really pushing the 'secret' out...

it's possible they're using this to sensationalize the single... how sneaky of UFA...
I'm haning mixed feelings about this...

I doubt they are kissing. Yossi's so stiff - see her hands. And Rika's laughing/giggling with eyes wide open. Who will kiss with wide open eyes when lips first met? I guess it's just a make-believe pose.

Anyway... I don't like it.

I notice a trend. Whenever the company tries to portray a girl as being gay, they know that her private life is quite the opposite. Nono and Aibon are so gay for each other... and Nono is a mother now while Aibon was once with a man double her age. GAM kissed in their MTV... when Aya's always romantically linked to a certain wi_nds member and as for Miki... well... it's no secret now. Kanna announced on radio that she likes girls... yeah... I guess everybody knows about her movie date with a certain joh_nny guy. Yuuko's so gay for Mari and is often teased for remaining on the shelf when... it's been exposed recently that she had been dating a certain V6 guy for 6 years now.

I guess fans like it more when their idols are gay. Male fans won't get upset/jealous that easily since their goddess isn't going out with another guy and there's always a hidden fantasy inside him about having a threesome with his idol with her girl thrown in as a bonus. Female fans all the more wouldn't mind. For that I'm sure the company knows how the formula works.

Joking. In all seriousness, I'm indifferent about it. It's very in-your-face and without warning (unless the PV builds up to it).

Anyway, I have a feeling that everyone is going to be all about ishiyoshi now (more than what has already been going on), until the next big pair appears.
